SIC collaborated with The North Face and the Chicago chapter of the American Alpine Club (AAC) to host a Pop-up event celebrating Earth Day. The goal of the event was to have members discuss ways to unplug, explore, and try to new things to help our planet.

Climbing is a great medium for maintaining an active lifestyle and commitment to our natural resources. The AAC facilitated a dialogue on climbing outdoors and how we can enjoy the outdoors responsibly.

Attendees were encouraged to check out the petition at change.org/EarthDayUS to make Earth Day a national holiday.
